Down the whole match and Berg only makes the one change. This seems insance, especially with potential game changers like Dunn and Pedersen on the bench. To be honest, Berg is looking fairly out of his depth early on, and the fact he had been out of management for a year and was working in a far weaker league is really showing. No sure why no one was keen on McCarthy at the time, proven manager with great experience at this level and good experience at the level we used to be at.He has since got a far far worse squad to within 6 points of us.Teams been low on confidence for best part of a year now,and after Kean finally left we should have gone for experience (as 90% of fans on this site suggested).Know Berg is only there a very short period of time, and other clubs fans will probably be reading this thinking here goes another Blackburn fan on a moan...Losing Kean was 100% the right move but since Berg took over we dropped down to 15th from 3rd,closer to the bottom and that doesn't look like ending-we couldn't look further away from a team that is going to turn things around and start moving up the league.I guess the other argument is that he hasn't even had a transfer window to shape the team his way, but he shows very little sign of knowing what he is doing at this level. Norwegian league is a whole different thing, plus he was sacked there fairly sharpish too.We are playing absolutely awful football, getting played off the park every match by anyone we play, and with a very strong squad compared to most in the league. We have managed to keep the majority of the squad that up until the last year where capable of Premier League standard,so surely 15th and dropping is unacceptable, especially with the best player in the league up front for us,getting few or no chances until someone of quality occasionally gives him a decent opportunity-usually the quality not even being in the initial lineup.Just not sure if with the financial stuff coming out in the press that if a huge financial risk/gamble really is been taken on getting up at first attempt that we can waste time on someone that clearly isn't going to get us where we need to go.Think fans were fairly disappointed with who we got at the time, but think Venkys also knew we would probably accept a former playing legend.Seriouslyworried.com
