Martin Dahlin Interview (Part 2)

Martin Dahlin Interview (Part 2)
HIS TIME WITH BLACKBURN ROVERS

Obviously your time with Blackburn Rovers was only a short one but what attracted you to the club in the first place?

Roy Hodgson, and the fact that I did join the best club in England at that time.

What qualities did you feel you brought to Blackburn at the time?

I was bought to score goals, and I am sure that if have stayed fit I would have scored 15-20 goals each season.

Roy Hodgson was the Blackburn manager at the time of your arrival what are your views on him?

He is one of the best managers I ever had.

What was the atmosphere in the dressing room like at the time? This was a subject of much debate at the time.

I did not know that? The atmosphere was as far as I remember good.

We've spoken about your career highlight, but what was the highlight of your time with Blackburn?

My first goal at home against Liverpool. It ended 1-1. This was before my injury when I still could do myself justice.

Once again we spoke about your career low point but what was this during your time with Blackburn? I`m sure I already know the answer to this unfortunately.

My injury

What words to see and hear "I did join the best club in England at that time!" It's interesting that he says Hodgson was one of the best managers he worked with, but when asked who the best Managers he worked with he didn't mention him!

Championship Cost Per Goal So Far In 2016/17

The end of the Championship campaign of 2016/17 is only a month and a bit away from fans across the country but as we go in to the remaining weeks of the campaign...

Positive Signs For Bennett

Bennett was positive of Blackburn being able to see off Lancashire rivals Preston heading into this game at Ewood Park after the Norwich and Fulham results.

Minor Graham Setback

Blackburn had to do without Danny Graham against Preston following the groin problem that forced him off against Fulham last week. He could return against Brighton next week.

Hugely Frustrating

Mowbray admitted Blackburn didn't start the game well against Preston but had then been the dominant side so was 'majorly disappointed' not to record a victory.
