Matt Derbyshire Top Rovers Forward

After gaining a massive 71% of the vote Matt Derbyshire has been voted the Rovers Forward of the Month for March. The Rovers youngster who also made his England under-21 debut as a substitute during March, getting on the scoresheet, rightly wins the vote. Shabani Nonda (did he even play during March?!?!) advances with Derbyshire to the overall Player of the Month Poll by finishing as runner up with 15%.

For the first time this season Benni McCarthy fails to feature in the Player of the Month poll as he finishes joint third with Paul Gallagher on 7%. Jason Roberts failed to register.

So in summary
Matt Derbyshire - 71%
Paul Gallagher - 7%
Benni McCarthy - 7%
Shabani Nonda - 15%
Jason Roberts - 0%

The search for March's Player of the Month will conclude shortly, but the current poll is asking, "Rovers Man of the Match verses Manchester United?"

PLEASE NOTE: This will be quick fire 24-hour poll so get your vote in quite as quick!

Derbs was an easy winner, was always going to be. The 15% for Nonda is somewhat questionable though isn't it? How much game time did he even get in March?!?!

he's got the ability lets hope he has a bad day at Old Trafford :-)

i was shocked at how good he was when you played us in the cup, although our defending was suspect, he could be a great prospect.

by far the best striker u have
MOYES IS GOD
Certainly, arguably the only striker we have!?!? We have forwards but Derbs is a striker through and through. Reminds me a lot of one of your old boys at Everton, a certain Gary Lineker!
