Christopher Samba Top Rovers Defender

Christopher Samba follows up his Defender and Player of the Month's for February by being voted Defender of the Month for March also, doing so by gaining 46%. Another impressive month, albeit a month with few games saw Christopher "the Wall" Samba again in fine form, opening his Rovers account with a goal against West Ham United.

Stephen Warnock has continued his impressive start to his Rovers career also and his 39% sees him finish as runner up to the Wall, and as such he advance to the overall Player of the Month poll next week.

Brett Emerton's 12% saw him finish third, with Brad Friedel fourth on 3%. Zurab Khizanishvili, Ryan Nelsen and Andy Todd failed to register, all three ended on 0%.

So in summary
Brett Emerton - 12%
Brad Friedel - 3%
Zurab Khizanishvili - 0%
Ryan Nelsen - 0%
Christopher Samba - 46%
Andy Todd - 0%
Stephen Warnock - 39%

Hard to disagree really, think the Wall has been the best defender JUST, and as such JUST pips Stevie W to the honour. Can the Wall make it a hat trick next month? I woulsn't bet against it!
