Ryan Nelsen Sparky's Top Rovers Buy

Was this ever really in doubt? Has anyone really made such a dramatic impact so quickly and sustained this more than the Admiral? So his 59% is no surprise what so ever in seeing him voted Mark Hughes' best buy.

The impact the Admiral had on Rovers after his arrival played a major role in Rovers maintaining their Premiership status, his impact in the time that has followed has done likewise in pushing us forward and getting us back into Europe.

David Bentley's 15% sees him voted as Sparky's next best signing with Benni McCarthy gaining 14% of the vote to finish third. Somehow, and VERY surprisingly for me Robbie only gained 7%, surely he deserved more than that…

So in summary
Ryan Nelsen - 59%
Robbie Savage - 7%
David Bentley - 15%
Craig Bellamy - 4%
Benni McCarthy - 14%
Other - 1%

The names have been suggested so the vote can start to fill the final places in the Greatest Ever Rovers Squad that we have been assembling over the months (we will then review who is in to see who stays and goes before we select a Greatest XI) so the current poll is asking, Greatest Ever Rovers Squad - Forwards?

PLEASE NOTE: Unlike other polls this will revert back to a 48-hour one (to keep in line with all previous Greatest polls to keep it fair) as opposed to the usual now 72-hour polls.

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…

As Clint has pointed out in his article trying to single out one is tough but despite the quality almost all of Sparky's signings have brought I do think the Admiral is the man. Savage SHOULD no two ways about it have gained more than 7% though!
