Were We Too Harsh…NO!

Lucas Neill was unhappy with the reception he received from the Ewood Park crowd when he returned to Blackburn recently with his West Ham United side.

When asked if you thought we were too harsh the vast majority, in one form of another (75% in total) say NO! 18% wondered what he was expecting whilst the other 57% merely felt he deserved it. 24% thought that maybe we were a little unfair on a former favourite with the final 1% undecided.

So in summary
Yes, a touch harsh - 24%
No, what did he expect - 18%
No, he deserved it - 57%
Maybe - 1%

Recently we asked who you thought had been Mark Hughes best signing, most agreed on one man but for those that didn't comment here it is on poll format so the current poll is asking, Who has been Sparky's best signing so far?

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…

I don't know what Lucas was expecting but he got what I thought he would, maybe a little too much but I'm sure he'll get over it... with his money :)

Even though I like Emerton, I think Neill was better as a defender. On the other hand, Emerton adds a new dimension in attack and I think it's much more important..... I think he didnt deserve that kind of attitdue, since each and every one of us (?) would have prefered a lucrative 4 times bigger contract.

Maybe we would all want extra money and you can accept this, as would we, it was just the talk he gave on his reasons for leaving don't correspond with a move to the Hammered do they really?!?!

As i said in another article, Neill is a better defender than Emerton, no question about it, the difference is Emerton will get better and he WANTS to play for Rovers, makes the world of difference in my book. Neill got what he expected after the lies that were told over his big money move. Hughes Da Man ur rite, everyone wants more money, so why not just say it, why the cover up about moving for footballing reasons?? when clearly this was not the case

You have far more respect for people if they come out and be honest. Maybe his claimed motives were his motives to begin with but when push came to shove he knew he wouldn't play much for Liverpool (or a team similar as he isn't good enough for a regular place it's that simple) so if he'd even then said as much and admitted the extra money on the table from the Hammered helped soften the blow from not getting his "dream move" we could accept it more.
