Zurab the Man to Partner the Admiral
Andre Ooijer overcame his rocky start to very much look like being an ideal partner for Ryan Nelsen when he returned but injury robbed him of this chance, this season at least.

Zurab Khizanishvili with 58% proved the most popular option, which going on names listed I think is a fair call. A new signing gained 20%, with this happening on Thursday afternoon when Christopher Samba arrived! I feel bad for leaving off Stephane Henchoz as I should really have had him instead of Eddie Nolan really shouldn't I?

Injuries have robbed us of Steven Reid, Andre Ooijer and now Robbie Savage for the remainder of this season with a transfer seeing Lucas Neill go, so the current poll suggested by BomBom is asking, who will we miss the most for the rest of the season?

Someone else mentioned before that the Admiral brings the best out of Zurab, this is true. The two could potentially make a great partnership, although you'd expect Samba will play now? Trying to replace Sav must be a higher priority to Sparky than brining in another defenderů or so I thought! This HAS to be looked at in the next week, we've covered other areas but don't think we could cover this without someone arriving, even if only on loan.

We need cover, we cant rely on Centre halfs playing as holding midfielders for tugay or dunn to get forward, we need a higher level of capability in the middle, It would be fine for 1-2 games, but not regularly.

it does seem that Nelsen brings out the best in Zurab, gives him more confidence although it'll be interesting to see how Samba copes in his first few games, good for Rovers to actually have competition at the back when everyones fit

As much as you are right Clint about zurab playing well with Nelsen, I do feel he is prone to errors and on recent form alone, I would leave Henchoz in as now he is fit, he looks a good addition to the team

Zurab is technically the best player we have at the back. He plays well with a leader next to him and Nelsen is a leader.

Zurab is still young, especially in centre half terms so he has a long future ahead of him. At the moment we need the steadying influence don't we. You don't get many better leaders than the Admiral. What is he Mikey???

Maybe it'll be Henchoz from the looks of things? This either levies Zurab playing at right back or out of the side?
