Friedel Indispensable for Blackburn

Following the injury to Steven Reid when a return seemed imminent when asked who else we could least afford to lose from those available Brad Friedel with 43% got the vote. Benni McCarthy came a close second with 33%.

The "other" option gained 6% - It would be interesting to see what names people would suggest for this option…

So in summary
David Bentley - 13%
Brad Friedel - 43%
Robbie Savage - 4%
Benni McCarthy - 33%
Morten Gamst Pedersen - 1%
Other - 6%

All eyes are now on the returning hero David Dunn so the latest poll is asking, how many League & Cup matches do you think Dunny will play this season? Obviously Cup matches depend on our progress but we have at least three more to go.

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…

I'm with you guys with Bradders; he got my vote. Benni would be a miss but others are chipping in with goals not many others could SAVE the goals Bradders does.

it def had to be Brad!! with him being American he's has be the M.V.P. player nearly every week. Without him Rovers would let in far more goals than they do! As I said to Hughes Da Man he's my choice of player of the decade ( although he only joined in 2000 ) for me he's that important to the team
Clint
I'd not disagree Clint still think you should start a thread in the forum opening up this debate, it's REALLY easy to do.

Hey guys, I have long said that Friedal is the best keeper in Europe! OK, so he's getting a tad long in the tooth now but since we have signed him, he's missed very, very few games and has won more games for us than I can count. When it comes to retirement time (god hopes it's not for a few years yet!) I'd love to see him taken on as a coach at the club, same with Tuggers, they have sooo much experience and class, that the younger players and, hell, even the older pro's would be able to learn from them.

Its got to be Brad - so consistent - his levels of concentration and application are simply outstanding!
TUGAYtheMAESTRO
Lets hope so BomBom but I have this feeling Bradders will be going back to the States when he calls it a day (can see no reason why he can't carry on for another 4-years though!) to work on his project in the States.

More than likely HDM, i have heard him mention about playing for the Crew in his home state of Ohio. Who knows, we may well welcome him back one day as a manager? But not for a few seasons yet!!!!!! lol

I have have the inside track on this one. Brad has been down to the Sheff U Academy a few times where I work to see Scott Sellars. Both of them work at Brad's Academy in Ohio, he is hoping to go full time with this after he finishes playing. He has been collecting information and videos to take with. Hope this helps all, 3 points today would do superbly. Especially as my Bro is a Man City fan.

Just as I thought, he's putting a lot into this project and really takes is seriously so when he does finish going back to this was something I always thought he'd do, now its been confirmed. Isn't Barry Venison in on the project as well?
Hughes Da Man
He is mate yes. he takes it very seriously by the sounds of things. I asked him if he needed a hand but apparently I'm not qualified or somet silly like that?!?!?
MikeyGamst
Always said he is one of the best keepers in the premiership.
will it ever happen
