Rovers Need to Give Franny More Time

Mark Hughes took a chance on Francis Jeffers when he was released by Charlton last summer; I think it is fair to say that he haven't seen the best of Franny but who has over the last few years? But think it is also fair to say he's also been very unfortunate with injuries once again here!

Pretty much half the voters, 51% in fact think that due to this we haven't seen enough to judge, which is a fair call. The other half were split almost 50:50 between fox in the box or living off a 5-year old tag.

So in summary
Fox in the box - 24%
Haven`t seen enough to judge - 51%
Living off a 5-year-old tag - 25%

The deal we have Franny on leaves us with little to lose. I've seen some good stuff from Franny; some superb movement at times but we've not seen enough to judge. Should Sparky pick up someone in this window he could still be shipped out, be this on loan or released? A fit and firing Franny is as good as anyone... sadly not many people have seen this for several years!

I would agree whole-heartedly there with HDM. Let's give a little more time because we have little to lose.

he has slipped behind Gallagher and Derbyshire, I dont believe he is injured although may be wrong there!? So this kinda shows that he's not going to get a chance and should be let go to a Championship club, even on loan for the rest of the season to get a bit of confidence back into his game. He's desperatley short of this and luck at the min so maybe a few goals a run of games will help him recover the talent everyone knows he has

It's not a bad idea, youngsters are shipped out for experience senior players should do the same likewise. Obviously Franny doesn't need experience but what he does need is a run of games, playing regularly scoring or not this WILL get his confidence back and he could then come back if all works out, if not then he SHOULD go completely.

Well i can see him making a £700k move to Sheffield Wednesday later on in the year! :)
will it ever happen
