Get Dominic Matteo Out Of Blackburn!

Get Dominic Matteo Out Of Blackburn!
From the list of names suggested this was whittled down to five men that stood out above the others (in terms of times mentioned by members) the rest fell under the "other" option.

With 45% Dominic Matteo (sorry Dom!) is the man you would most like Rovers to get rid of! Failing that Lucas Neill with 28% would be the next option. Peter Enckelman (4%) is the man you would least like to see us part with; but I'd suggest that besides picking up a pay cheque for doing nothing he has done little for us to want to see him leave!

The "other" option with 3% was technically the least voted one but I suspect had this been Andy Todd alone and not Todd and Paul Gallagher we would have seen a different result?

So in summary
Peter Enckelman - 4%
Francis Jeffers - 10%
Michael Gray - 10%
Dominic Matteo - 45%
Lucas Neill - 28%
Other (Paul Gallagher or Andy Todd) - 3%

The who we want to come and go from Ewood Park in January is covered the latest poll ( suggested by govtpros) is asking, Who was quoted, "Why do you want to sign Zidane when we have Tim Sherwood?"

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…

send him back to Leeds..... please

Matteo has been poor for Blackburn, even when given his chance u could see that his legs had gone for football in the top flight. Gray I dont rate wot-so-ever, he is at best average in my humble opinion and Jeffers will be shown the door as he's not even getting reserve games
11/01/2007 10:23:00
Not even sure that Leeds would touch him now. We'll have to pay him either way so if no one takes him on during this window just pay up his contract and let him sit at home doing nothing, why pay him to just train. He's a spent force who will NEVER get a look in again at Ewood.

Mickey is living on borrowed time, has pretty much all season so think he'll at least go out on loan. As for Franny I was looking forward to seeing him. I know he's on a deal that leaves us with little to lose but if Sparky does bring someone else in I think we could well see him released, again go out on loan at least. He showed me some signs of something early on in his spell but has struggled for the last 5 years really.

I think this is why Hughes has been linked with Mpenza and that fella from Holland. I think Jeffers will be at a 1st division club for the 2nd half of the season. I dont think we need any more forwards but for cover maybe, i'll trust Hughes but I think he should be concentrating on midfield as we have cover for the defence once the injured players are back
11/01/2007 11:20:00
You have to believe that someone is heading out of Ewood in the striking positions for Sparky to still looking at this area as we don't need anyone else, Franny does seem the most likely to go, Nonda could and maybe would have too but for his recent form. The Mpenza brothers were superb a few years ago (Mbo and Emile.) Haven't heard much about either for Belgium or club sides for a while though.

Im not quite sure why people are voting for Franny Jeffers. When the lad has been given a chance he s looked quite lively. I think it s a bit harsh to already call for him to be transfered

What!! Franny has been useless - as he was at Rangers, Charlton and Arsenal. He must now be behinf McCarthy, Nonda, Derbyshire and Gallacher who have all done something he hasn't - scored!! He's a waster who has wasted all talent he has ever had - ship him out to another team where he can fail, again!!
11/01/2007 13:38:00
In fact we should get rid of all the deadwood - Jeffers, Gray, Enkelman & matteo - they must earn decent wages so replace them with younger talent.
