'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Getting to Know.....3enjy!!!!

We have a busy man on our hands here. Father, Husband, and the man we all love to hate, a Referee! Step up, 3enjy!

1) Welcome to Vital Blackburn! So, introduce yourself, who is 3enjy and what does he do!

Hi i'm a 28 year old civil servant, Married with 2 kids.
I'm a Blackburn End season ticket holder and also a referee up to Saturday Lancashire league at the moment.

Also a player with one of the best strike ratio to pull on a Rovers shirt 3 times played at Ewood 5 goals including a hatrick.......

I also referee for the charity FootballAid and have officiated at Ewood Park and Goodison park this May.

2) This Venkys mob come across differently to each one of us. What is your view on our owners

My view is that i think they have been badly advised in the opening period of the ownership but I would like to think think that now it is changing and the club can start taking shape, summer is a big time for the club to prove we want to improve and contest in the top half instead of like last season.

3)Are Blackburn undergoing a transition period? Or do you expect our senior players to continue on and guide our youth on the roller coaster ride

Yes and No, the squad are mainly internationals or have been around the top league long enough to blend the squad together and move on. I would be happy with a top ten finish this season and start heading in the right direction.

4) The budget could be anywhere from 20 to 50 million pounds. Lets meet half way. 35 Million pounds, how would you spend it!

Wisely? We need a 20 goal striker (don't care who or where from) as since Roque's good season we have lacked anyone to make double figures really. JJ is a signing to keep midfield stability.

5) How do you rate the 3 newly promoted teams, how will they fare next season

Norwich I think will surprise a few like Blackpool did but all about picking up points and stamina
QPR high hopes with mega rich owners but can't stand Warnock so hope they go straight back down
Swansea have the best chance of staying up but again could be another Blackpool, Very reliant on Sinclair to score the goals

6) Favourite all time Rovers player and why!

Shefki Kuqi - Just reminds me of me, not the most skilled but does the job and the celebration is quality. (Woohoo! Im not the only one who loved the Flying Finn!!!!)

A hat trick at Ewood Park! Sign him up. When was the last first team hat trick there? Please don't let it be by Dunn. (We need to move him on to another club now, don't want any previous success to cloud the issue)

Well done guys, a nice read and well done 3enjy for managing to make it through the Sas trap in one piece! ;) The last hat trick at Ewood was Bentley against Man Utd and the last Rovers hat-trick was Roque Santa Cruz at Wigan!
