Benjani.....Not!!!

Signed on a freebie after being released by his former club, Benjani was provided a lifeline by Blackburn Rovers.

Apart from his 2 goal blitz against Liverpool, the Zimbabwean has failed to made an impact, mainly due to injuries, and mainly due to Mr Kean rotating strikers on a weekly basis.

So the votes are in, and despite Sas giving Benjani the tick of approval, he was completely outvoted,

Hot 1 Votes - [12.5%]

Not 6 Votes - [75%]

Needs More Time 1 Votes - [12.5%]

And with the signing of Rochina, Benjani looks like he will fall further down the pecking order....

Jermaine Jones!

I went for needs more time, which doesn't actually mean I think he needs more time... just that he has been hit and miss for me!

don't think i voted, i think he needs more playing time because when he has played he has scored goals.

he isn't as good on the ball but has a better scoring touch. it's a mix bag and hard to see how he'd be around next season

I think i would sooner have Benjani up there than a certain Mr Roberts to have a few shots at goal. TBF Benjani hasn't really played that much with injuries or not gettting picked but at least he didn't cost anything unlike... Grella, Andrews etc
