Reflection and Preview - Wolves to Bolton

A new article I am trialling this week is called 'Reflection and Preview' where I will take a look at the previous fixture and reflect on it after a weeks thought!(we often let our anger out after a loss or poor performance straight after the game) And also a look ahead to the next fixture!

Wolves last week was what you could class as a must-win game. A heavy loss to Manchester United the week before (I forget the score) left many fans shocked and disappointed. Both result and performance were needed to put fans minds at ease. Whilst it was not our best performance we certainly entertained and got a good result with 3 home goals at Ewood not often seen! The result did not by any means cancel out the previous weeks thumping, but put us well on our way to recovery. A win at The Reebok this weekend could just well finish the healing!

Bolton have been in fine form this season, and are doing the best they have done since the Allardyce era! Owen Coyle has worked wonders with the current crop of players, changing them from poor performing relegation candidates into European outside contenders. The whites have been on a good run of form this season and are unbeaten in their last 3 home games. However The Reebok has been a happy hunting ground for Rovers over the last couple of years winning 3 and drawing 1 of the last 4 visits! a record we will no doubt be hoping to add to tomorrow!

I can see it being a tough game but one we are certainly capable of winning! I can see a narrow win for the Rovers this time around!

My Prediction: Bolton 1-2 Blackburn Rovers

Superb stuff well done mAte! Maybe add some Recent scores between the clubs as well as a best case scenario if we win and worst case scenario if we lose on the ladder!

Good stuff 23 and I'd definately hope for a 1-2 to the Rovers as well. By no means easy but BS seems to have an edge over his previous clubs. On top of that we might get another brilliant own goal. :D

Well done with the score prediction. When Bolton play you in future, I'll check your prediction and expect to win by that score. On the other hand, if you knew you'd be starting the last half hour at nil nil against 10 men, I expect your prediction would have been even more optimistic. You may not have noticed but Megson left the building some time ago. I know you don't like Allardyce but never mind, Laws may even be available soon.

expect to win? typical arrogant supporter after a win.. wow you scabbed a win because of some poor defending? when we battered you for most of the game? when your bubble bursts and we finish above you.. don't come crying.. because believe me.. your bubble will burst.. as soon as you lose a couple on the trot you have nothing.. your players lack ability and are playing on confidence alone..
rover23
Oh dear rover23, was that aimed at me? A bit aggressive, no? We know our bubble will burst (if it is a bubble) and we know that, unlike you, we'll never win the league, but Sugar Daddy Walker's money wouldn't get you close these days. For the record, I was delighted when you won the Premier League but those days are gone. As for me, I was just enjoying a rare victory for us over you. If that's too much for you to bear, I'm sorry. You've had more money than us since Jack Walker but we're essentially the same - it's amazing both clubs have survived 10 straight years in the top flight. OK, you may have tons of money now and if that doesn't enable you to finish above Bolton, shame on you. One last point. I see that Big Sam has gone and I know you lot didn't like him but, believe me, you're just lucky not to have had to endure Megson. Would you really deny us enjoying a bit of football after that crap?

"your players lack ability and are playing on confidence alone" Yes, it's well known that players of zero ability but who are happy can perform well in the Premier League! If you'd said we were punching above our weight, I'd agree. Don't you see that if clubs like ours (that includes yours, unless you really think Blackburn are a BIG club - watch out Chelsea, Arsenal, Red Rags...) need to punch above our wieght or get relegated? It really is that simple.
