Who is Safe, Who is not!
With a takeover seemingly on the cards, it is time to go through our squad, and see who will be safe, who might go, and who, well, are out the door!
Safe- Going Nowhere!
Paul Robinson- The former England Number one has more then held his own this season, pulling off save after save. Unless a big club comes in with megamoney, Robinson will see his career out in the blue and white halves
David Dunn- Doesnt need an explanation. The guy might have a worse streak then a tampon (in for 1, out for 3), but he is loved by all Rovers fans and the club. Legend
Chris Samba- Made captain as a sign for the future. Will lead us into the new era
El Hadji Diouf- As long as Sam is in charge, Diofy will terrorise the flanks, and deservedly so
Michel Salgado- The Spaniard will be the marketing face for Rovers in the subcontinent and Asia, being a former galactico
Morten Gamst Pedersen- Whilst he can be so inconsistent, a new contract means Gamst will dissapear for a season, before firing again amid more transfer rumours
Phil Jones- The future of English football. Will need a massive fee for him to leave Ewood Park
A Flip Of a Coin!
Martin Olsson- The performer of 2009, Olsson has not lived up to expectations. A quiet few weeks could see him slip down the order of Josh Morris or Pascal Chimbonda can force there way in
Ryan Nelsen- The Club Captain, whilst a starting centre back, could find him self on the outer if fresh legs are brought in. A home return for NZ in the A-League would is on the cards, and its a matter of when, not if
Brett Emerton- Mr Versatility just has not regained his form Post World Cup. A home return could also be on the cards
Vince Grella- Finally starting to show the goods, though is it too little too late?
Benjani- New arrival, kind of think he wont be long and only here as we couldnt get anyone else!
Gael Givet- Whilst he provides good cover in defence, he really needs to step it up a notch and take more responsibility when called upon
Steve Nzonzi- 2009 player of the year seems to have some attiude issues. And with yet another defensive midfielder coming on board, who knows what is around the corner
Nikola Kalinic- A striker needs to score goals. Apart from 2 gifts Niko might just become a 6 million pound flop
Junior Hoillet- Promised so much, delivering so little!
Good Bye!
Jason Roberts- A true professional, but his days are numbered. The confusing thing is, his style actually suits our long ball rubbish!
Keith Andrews- I think the Irishman will bid farewell. He works hard, and does some sort of job.....but, well, you know.....
Pascal Chimbonda- I rate him. Really do. For some reason, Sam doesnt, and he will be let free
Jason Brown- Poor comments from Browny means the end of his spell as the Number 2 for Rovers
So what are your thoughts? Have I got it completely wrong!
