Getting to Know.....Scottrover!!!!

Getting to Know.....Scottrover!!!!
Its probably as close as Sas will get to Ewood Park in the near future so here we go!

1) Tell us a little about yourself!

Well my name is Scott, im from Darwen 19 years of age, been a Blackburn fan for 9 years as i realized Anfield was miles away. I live with a Bolton fan Burnley and Manchester United fan so I guess you can see theres lots of arguments at home! had season tickets on and off over the 9 years, got one currently though and i travel to most away games.

2)11th spot.....Is this where we realistically should be? What are your opinions on the season so far....

We all know were we are capeable of finishing (just look back over the years). Our home forms shows we deserve top 6 but our away form has relegation all over it so at the moment 11th is very realistic, however i will always feel we can get top 8 in every season we are in. The last few months havnt been the best for me, the football has been boring everything is going against us and not many people are getting behind the team

3) The League Cup V Villa....Over the two legs, did we do enough to show we are a solid footballing team. Did we get robbed in the second leg?

We showed why they are the best domestic cups in the world, everyone wrote us off, 1st leg villa just did enough to win it in my opinion although our second half performance deserved a draw but its not good just playing for 45mins. Its got to be for 90mins against teams like villa but the second leg was just amazing, we turned up at Villa Park and it looked all doom and gloom but our lads came out and showed we can PLAY, we took the game to villa and we were the better team. I went to game game and have seen no replays but from my view the 1st goal shouldnt of been, and that CHANGED the game i thought we were in control, Villa were shakey and our fans were the best i have seen, it had Rovers all over it. I wouldnt say Villa deserve to win over both legs, but neither did Rovers so maybe we could play a 3rd match?

4) Where are we lacking in our squad to make us a more consistent outfit. Defence is leaking goals, midfielders are always injured, and strikers couldnt score in a brothel, though which of the 3 needs most work?

I CANT JUST PICK ONE :(. in my eyes we have a good defence so im leaving that, We need new wingers- Pederson and Diouf are just no good, they dont have pace and they dont like running at defenders. We all know people like Mccarthy can get 15goals a season if hes got good service, unfortunatly hes not had it. Olsson has come in and has been a star but will he keep it up?

5) Where will we finish, who will win the EPL and who will get relegated!

We will finish in top 12, 2 new strikers in Jan and maybe an attacking midfielder on loan or something will give us the edge we need, we play as a team and if our strikers score our defence will have more confidence.

I think chelsea will win the league but i wouldnt rule United out, Wolves Burnley and Hull too go down!

Some very valid, interesting points, Cheers Scott!

A crystal ball there Scott? Your article is published on the day Rovers sign Basturk - who we all hope will be an attacking midfielder in the Dunn mould. Good article.
