Crisis club Newcastle take on Blackburn this afternoon. Should be a tasty game. You'd have had to have buried you're head in the sand not to realise what is happening at Newcastle at the moment.
But for whatever their problems Blackburn are notorious for ending team's bad runs - something we need to cut out.
Newcastle will have caretaker manager Chris Hughton in charge for the last time before interim manager Joe Kinnear takes over.
Rovers on the other hand will have to get off to a good start and try and make the crowd turn on the home team again.
Martins, Beye, Viduka, Guthrie, Smith, Barton and Enrique are all out for varying reasons.
Guthrie is banned for his horror tackle on Craig Fagan last week and Joey Barton is banned for being Joey Barton.
The rest are injured so expect Cacapa to continue in central midfield.
Believe it or not no-one else has scored for the Toon since March!
He is a constant danger and has a good record against the Blue and White Army.
Rovers beware.
Rovers have Axe and Benni as doubts but Keith Andrews is available after being cup tied in midweek.
Dave Dunn, Vince Grella and Steven Reid are all definitely out.
Paul Robinson is out for two weeks so Jason Brown should replace him between the sticks.
Carlos Villanueva - Already a cult hero and has a dynamite left foot. If he starts or comes on as a sub, he will be a threat.
Rovers are aiming for four wins in a row v Newcastle home or away.
They have not conceded a goal at St.James since 2004.
Newcastle are looking to arrest a silde of 3 defeats in a row.
Steve Tanner.
3-1 to the Rovers. I am being optimistic again but I feel we have the tools to do the Magpies some damage. The scorers at a guess will be Morten Pedersen, Steve Warnock and Matt Derbyshire.
