Biography

Seen as others are filling in their profiles I'd best do mine!

Well my interest in Rovers began in the 1990-1991 season after Rovers were denied a famous FA Cup win over (the then mighty!) Liverpool thanks to old rubberneck Ian Rush, I'll gloss over the replay result lol!

Matt Derbyshire and Tugay are my favourites (as EVERYONE knows!) although I rate sooo many of the current players VERY highly, as I do the youngsters coming through.

I am an avid believer of remembering our past as well as the present though; we should NEVER forget the people that got us where we are now. They are part of a rich history and should never be brushed aside just because we haven't seen them play or they played long before we were even born.

My aims for Vital Blackburn have ALWAYS been to make it a place for Rovers fans to go, have fun and enjoy without ridicule (genuine ridicule anyway, we have PLENTY of playful banter!) and this is proving the case. We have quite a following here, but I want MORE!!!
