Santa: We Need To Win At Home

Santa: We Need To Win At Home

Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz is desperate for us to get into Europe again next season. But to do this he feels EVERYONE (including himself) needs to improve at home and we must win these matches, with more goals also needed.

Wins at Ewood Park have become pretty rare recently, as we have only won two in our last eight matches at home, it's not only wins it's goals to and Santa Cruz (who has only scored one Premier League goal from his fifteen (and four in total) at Ewood this season) is hoping that everyone (himself included) can chip in with more of them to start giving us the wins at Ewood that are needed to get into Europe again.

Santa Cruz Said: "I hope everybody can improve when we play at home and it would also be nice to score a few more goals in front of our fans.

"I'm enjoying the games and every goal I score is important for the team, but we want to play in Europe so we need to keep winning games.

"My target is to keep scoring as many as I can to put us in that position when the places are decided at the end of the season.
"

It will probably boil down to home form as to whether or not we do get into the UEFA Cup (possibly even a Champions League spot?!?!) again next season, so we MUST start turning draws into victories and defeats into draw (at least).

1 solitary point looks mighty good to me right now but knowing us we will waltz in there and take all three, only to drop three to birmingham or summat the week after!

That would be typical Rovers wouldnt it!!! lol. I think we have nothing to be scared of. It is a "bonus game" and anything we take home is welcome and unexpected.
