Gallagher Loaned Out To Stoke

Blackburn Rovers striker Paul Gallagher completed a loan return to Stoke City on Thursday, he will stay with them for the remainder of the season.

The 23-year-old has returned to the Championship club for a second time, having spent the 2005-2006 season on loan at the Britannia Stadium, where he scored 12 goals in 40 appearances. Gallagher had enjoyed a successful loan spell with Preston North End earlier this season, and they were keen to get him back again but Stoke have got him and their manager Tony Pulis was delighted with the capture.

Pulis told the Official Stoke City website: "He is an absolutely fantastic signing, he has good quality and is very different to what we already have.

"We know him from last time he was here and we know he can score goals
."

Gally WILL be a superb signing for Stoke and will very much help their promotion bid. I'm not sure how many more times the dude can be sent out on loan before he thinks ***** this I'm going for good!!!

I hope gally can succeed, come back to Rovers and push for a first team spot. I think this will be his final loan deal, he will either prove him self or he will go

Gally will be back in the summer but it wouldnt surprise me that he was allowed to leave permanently afterwards, so if thats the case, lets hope he has a blinder from now to end of season and we can get a decent price for the scottish international!!!!

He will come back, but when he does he really has to strengthen up over the end of year break and prove to Sparky he can make the squad for next year
