Brett Emerton Top Rovers Defender

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked, "Defender/Keeper of the Month for January?" We voted in favour of Brett Emerton.

Emerton seems to be doing pretty well in the Defender of the Month poll's, as with 46% he was again voted the Defender of the Month for January so takes his place in the grand final shortly to determine the Vital Blackburn Player of the Month.

Brad Friedel's 28% sees him as runner up to Emerton, and as such he also advances to the overall Player of the Month poll taking place soon.

Bruno Berner (10%), Andre Ooijer (10%), Ryan Nelsen (3%), Stephen Warnock (3%), Zurab Khizanishvili (0%) & Christopher Samba (0%) completed the poll.

Positive Signs For Bennett

Bennett was positive of Blackburn being able to see off Lancashire rivals Preston heading into this game at Ewood Park after the Norwich and Fulham results.

Hugely Frustrating
