Rovers Ladies Leading the Way

In the first of what i hope to be at least a regular appearance on Vital Blackburn, Our Ladies team will start to feature on the site. With my current role as Reserves Reporter, it is time to expand this to report on our highly rated, and positioned, Ladies outfit.

Our ladies most recent encounter was against the multi millionares from Chelsea. After getting of to a shaky start, Chelsea took the lead after their English Capped striker, Eni Aluko had a shot parried by Sian Payne, but was tapped in by Dunia Susi.

However, our ladies bounced back, with Katie Anderton, doing what she does for her club and country, slotting away the equaliser.

The draw leaves Rovers just one point behind leaders Bristol, with the season shaping up to be closely fought out.

Well done to our Ladies and hopefully they can push on and claim the title.

Well done to our ladies. They dont recieve much attention, so we will do all we can at Vital Blackburn to promote their game. Hopefully we can attract some ladies to the site also.

Nice one dude, it's good to pay attention to the ladies as well. (sorry to be crude but I couldn't help a little childish giggle when I read this bit "However, our ladies bounced back" lol!)
