Rovers Man of the Match v Villa

Vital Blackburn's most recent poll asked, "Rovers Man of the Match v Aston Villa?" We voted David Dunn.

After a superb performance Dunn picked up a Man of the Match Award against Aston Villa. His 36% saw him claim the award ahead of Roque Santa Cruz (16%) and Stephen Warnock (14%). With Fabio Capello having people watch on several of Rovers English players will have hoped they caught the eye?!?!

The others were much the same as each other, although Brad Friedel (8%) did stand out from the rest.

So in summary
B Friedel - 8%
B Emerton - 2%
A Ooijer - 6%
C Samba - 2%
S Warnock - 14%
S Reid - 5%
D Dunn - 36%
D Bentley - 6%
M G Pedersen - 1%
Santa Cruz - 16%
Derbyshire - 2%
J Roberts (Sub 87mins) - 2%

The current poll, suggested by The Rovers Players begins the search for the Rovers Player of the Month for January, so is asking "Defender/Keeper of the Month for January?"

I think this was a much-deserved win here from Dunny.
