Samba Suspension Won't Help

Blackburn Rovers defender Christopher Samba will now serve a MUCH unwanted suspension.

After picking up his TENTH booking of the season in the dying moments against Aston Villa on Saturday Samba will now serve an immediate two-match suspension, which is not at all helpful to the Rovers cause as skipper Ryan Nelsen in already missing with a hamstring injury that requires rest.

Unless manager Mark Hughes can bring in reinforcements by midnight on Thursday when the January transfer window closes Rovers will ONLY have Zurab Khizanishvili and Andre Ooijer as the fit and available first-team central defenders for the next two matches against Everton and then Arsenal.

IF we pick up an injury we will be in BIG trouble!!!
Is Stephane Hedgehog still here? If so he better conserve his energy as he might be needed afterall!!!
Hughes Da Man
and i bet half his yellows are for stupid needless fouls it really annoys me as we have so many people doing this all the time. with only zurab and ooijer at the back i fear for us as arsenal away wasa gonna be tough but neither of them guys are particularly fast
durks de rover
I dunoo durks. Andre was actually keeping Agbonlahor under wraps on Saturday... not bad. As long as Andre and Zurabstay fit we have Henchoz still here. Keep the faith guys.

I think the Hedgehog is gone, he left earlier in the window i believe, not to sure though...well the axe is gonna be back pretty soon with South Africa almost out of contention
sasman
Are you sure Hedgehog left dude?!?! There was talk that Fulham wanted him but I don't think he left.
Yeah, South African will be out of the African Cup of Nations by the end of the week wont they.
Hughes Da Man
HEnchoz is still with us.. there was speculation but Hughes need him for his stamina and fitness lol.
