Faye Begins His Rovers Trial?

If the newspapers are to be believed Amdy Faye has apparently begun his trial with Blackburn Rovers?!?!

The Senegalese midfielder was heavily mooted with a move to Ewood Park last week, but FIFA rules appeared to have ruled out such a move (with Rovers chairman John Williams also appearing to concede defeat) however, it is understood that he has today started a four-day trial with Rovers and if he impresses manager Mark Hughes a loan arrangement with Charlton Athletic could be agreed?

As Faye has already represented Charlton and Glasgow Rangers (with whom he is currently on loan) this season it would appear that he would not be able to play for Rovers as well, so if this is the case it does appear that he couldn't come to Ewood Park anyway?!?!

I'm confused now as I didn't think a deal could take place anyway?!?!
Personally I'm not sure that he would be much better (if at all) than the Axe, and I KNOW that quite a few people don't rate him, I would also say that if he was as good as it is thought why is he not at the African Cup of Nations with Senegal (unless he has retired from International football?)

This could be a trail with a view to a summer move, either that or the rules have been swayed like they were with Liverpool, different circunstances there I think though. I dont think that he is the player we are looking for in midfield, from wot I have seen he's not as good as the Axe, which the position he would be brought in for. We need someone to take over from Tugay, dunno if Dunn is the man there for that but I feel that is where the cover needs to come in, a flair payer

Don't think so dude, I can't see the point of giving him a trial now if he is gonig to be signed in the summer, IF he is on trial now he is on trial with a view to signing him now, which is the part that confuses me, not just as I think he can't sign (well at least that is what we've been told) but becuase I don't think he is any better than what we have in all truth?

Don't let him in the club! Nooooooo

Please fifa, dont make a exception for this guy, surely we can do better

Trust Sparky... he has asked to bring him in on a trial... Hughesy wants to see him in action first... if the rumours are true... but i must admit he wouldn't be on my list!

What is the point of having rules if they never abide by them?

i guess there are always exeptions to a rule....

Dunn is not good enough to replace Tugay. He was selfish on Saturday, there were several occasions when he should have slid the ball through to an unmarked David Bentley, yet he chose to shoot himself from further out and then didn't even get the shot on target. If Bentley had been marked then it might have been excused. We urgently need to replace Tugay so that Bentley and the forwards can get more goals. A Goal difference of 1 is not good enough for us to stay in the top 10.

Crazy, off the cuff thought here, what about Bents replacing Tugay?!?! Yeah, I know not likely but you never know?!?!
I'm not keen on faye at all, and hope the rules aren't altered to allow a move!!!
