Johnny Flynn Ewood Bound?

The BBC is reporting that Blackburn Rovers are about to complete the signing of Johnny Flynn.

The 18-year-old Ballymena United defender spent some time on trial with Rovers in November and was understood to have impressed. Things went quiet (however, recently someone DID say in the forum that he was signing for Rovers, but NO ONE believed them!!!) but he was left out of the Ballymena squad that played on Saturday and is understood to have come for a medical today and is due to sign any time now?

Firstly if this does come off the dude that mentioned this in the forum deserves a BIG thumbs up and ALSO apologies for us doubting him.
I don't know ANYTHING about the dude, I have to admit and didn't even know he had spent time on trial with us.

A lad from Northern Ireland, I have seen him play and he looked well better than everyone else on the pitch, granted this was an Irish League match so not much to outshine BUT he did and surely he 's worth a punt
Clint
Well one for the future I guess!

Oh def, lets see how he deals with the professional setup, cos no offense to Ballymena Utd but they are a 2nd rate team in a 3rd world divison, when compared to the Premier League
Clint
Yeah, one for the future (hopefully!!!) he sounds awesome though!

Like i said elsewhere, good for the future, but we need depth and strength now
