Gallagher The Playmaker

Gallagher The Playmaker

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll, suggested by IsraeliRover asked "Gallagher's future lies in?" A playmaker role, but NOT here.

It is commonly accepted that Paul Gallagher is technically the most gifted footballer (or at least one of them) that Blackburn Rovers have, so with this in mind it has been thought that he could be used in a playmaker role, and 40% believe that this could be the case, however, it wont be here it will be with Blackpool (or simply someone else.) However, 31% feel that this could be the case, and Ewood Park.

25% see him as still having a role within the squad, with 3% thinking he could be used as a right-winger. The final 1% think he could be a supporting striker.

So in summary
The playmaker role - 31%
The right winger role - 3%
The supporting striker role - 1%
Somewhere inside our squad - 25%
The playmaker role. Blackpool's.. - 40%

The current poll, suggested by The Rovers Players is asking, "Rovers Man of the Match v Middlesbrough?"

Agree with you HDM, Gally can become a future star with us, but whether he gets the oportunity or not is a different story, maybe he can develop into a midfielder, i dont no, otherwise he is going to struggle to get into our squad as a striker

He is a playmaker waiting to happen in my eyes. We simply dont use him enough (i.e. derbyshire, matthew). He is one of the most gifted players at the club. His time will come.

He just hasnt taken his chances, he hasnt had many to be honest but that must go down to him not turning Hughes head in training, or in the games that he has had! I like him and think he could do a job, but unfortunatley in the wide areas and up front we have players that either are just plainly better or are playing well, It looks like curtains for him as he'll not want to hang around forever!
