Rovers Kids For A Quid Offer

Here's the latest press release from Ewood Park (below) about the latest superb deal Blackburn Rovers are offering their younger fans.

WATCH ROVERS v MIDDLESBROUGH FOR JUST £1

Blackburn Rovers have announced another bold ticketing initiative to attract younger fans through the turnstiles.

Young supporters who are part of the club's junior membership scheme "Team Rovers" can watch the game against Middlesbrough for just a £1.

Team Rovers is the free membership scheme for all Rovers fans aged under 16. Any juniors that are not members are encouraged to join before Saturday lunchtime to take advantage of this offer.

At the game, Rovers will also be introducing a new exciting Team Rovers competition with 6 lucky Team Rovers members winning a 'money can't buy' prize. The members - who will be randomly chosen - will have their photos flashed on the big screen and if they are in the stadium, can claim their prize after the match.

Membership also entitles young fans to a free gym bag and goodie pack, discounts on soccer schools, birthday and Christmas cards from the Rovers stars and the chance to be a player escort on a match day.

Since the launch of Team Rovers back in October at a half term open day at Ewood Park the club has been flooded with enquiries about membership and the scheme has already proved hugely popular with the young fans in the region.

This season Rovers have significantly reduced season ticket and matchday ticket prices for all age groups, making football affordable for all at Ewood Park.

Mark Hughes said: "Through this Team Rovers initiative fans can experience the thrill of a live Premier League match at Ewood Park and see the players up close for just £1. Young fans form the next generation of Rovers supporters and we want them to support their local team and have Rovers players as their heroes."

Simon Williams, head of Commercial and Marketing at Rovers added: "We're thrilled with the response we've had from fans to the new Team Rovers membership scheme. Any under 16s looking to join up and take advantage of these £1 tickets can either sign up at the ticket office before the game on Saturday, or they can complete the form on rovers.co.uk."

ozanne park rangers
The ids are the future of the club so getting them on board now is crucial... good work Rovers.

Yeah, thats true without them there will be NO future, trying to tempt them away from the "easier" options such as Manure is the hard thing, things like this will get them in and hopefully get them hooked. We might not have played that well, but the match was entertaining enough, so hopefully it's done the trick?!?!

I hope so... these offers need to be supported for future growth.
