Savage Completes Derby Move

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Robbie Savage has now become former Blackburn Rovers midfielder after completing his move to Derby County.

Three-years after controversially signing for Rovers from Birmingham City Savage has left Ewood Park to help Derby in their relegation fight, but has designs mainly on helping them in their Championship promotion fight next season (as looks most likely.)

The 33-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half contract for a fee of £1.5 million, which could rise dependant on other things. Sav is set to go straight into the Derby squad for their match with Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

I am sure that I speak on behalf of EACH and EVERY Rovers fan when I say I wish Sav all the very best for the future. He is a footballer that you LOVE on your side but HATE when he is against you. However, we will never hate him, how could we!!!
