Domovchiyski On Trial At Rovers

Blackburn Rovers have taken Valeri Domovchiyski on a weeks trial.

The Bulgarian Under-21 International striker has attracted a lot of attention but it is Rovers that have stole the march on others by inviting the Levski Sofia striker over for a weeks trial with us so Mark Hughes (who does love his trials) can take a closer look at him.

A statement on Levski Sofia's Official Website said: "At the invitation of English Premier League side Blackburn Rovers, Levski striker Valeri Domovchiyski will leave on Sunday for a five-day trial."

Should Hughes like what he sees he could tie up a deal, Newcastle United and Sunderland are both reported as being interested also.

We have been linked with him for a while; Sparky loves his trials so this isn't a surprise at all. If Sparky likes what he sees he will pick him up.

There is a lot of clamour about him so should be interesting.
roversman
should be interestin, roversman could ya rush the report a bit we had a blackout and i missed the game lol please!!!
sasman
ok...not sure about this guy to be honest, will he want to come and sit on the bench at rovers... and what about maceo rigters?? has evry1 just forgotten about him.... id like to see him have a run out against coventry up with benni...could be interesting!

Rigters has def fallen off the radar a bit hasnt he, maybe he's not settling into the team or English football as quickly as he maybe should have. Or he may be injured?!? if this new lad has something about him then for that kind of money we should have a go at getting him, think i read somewhere he scored 40 goals in 70 odd matches, by anyones standard thats good, although it in a donkey league, he's young and has time to develop.

The dude is being VERY highly rated, I like the way Sparky is doing this, taking a closer look first (that is after all his way.)
As far as Rigters goes, I don't ever think he was signed with the view to making much, if any impact this season, however, I did think we would at least see a bit of him.
Hughes Da Man
I've just read that Rigters may go out on loan in Jan to a Championship club, building him up for next season as u suggest Hughes Da Man?!? Kinda paves the way for Roberts and Gallagher to leave the club
Clint
I really like gally, he hasnt had much of a run though, i think he might of scored the winner against newcastle a few years back
sasman
I think that Rigters will start tomorrow, but will still probably og out on loan for a month or so after.
Hughes Da Man
I cant see rigters getting the nod tomorrow unless injuries force the hand. Sparky wants to loan him out and if hes cup tied that may narrow his choice of destination. after all, we dont want him off to the likes of crewe do we, id like to see a top half championship side take a gamble on him. we might see what we have in store for us in the future then!
BomBom
Maceo is starting today with Benni. It is because of injury but a chance for him to impress.

apparently this guy on trial will cost 2 million and for him tocome in we'll prob have to sell Roberts.
