Savage On His Way Out Of Ewood?!?!

Savage On His Way Out Of Ewood?!?!

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Robbie Savage could be on his way out of Ewood Park according to the latest tabloid talk.

For some time now the newspapers have been saying that Savage is unhappy with his place not being guaranteed, with Derby County and Wigan Athletic both interested. However, it is Sunderland that the newspapers are now saying that have held talks with Sav and hope to sign the 33-year-old former Welsh International for £1.5 million, with this money then being used by Mark Hughes for reinforcements.

Newspaper talk, or something with some basis?!?! Personally I'm not convinced by it, but you never know?

I can't really see how Sav can say (if he even is?!?!) that his first team chances have been limited, as they haven't really have they!
There is MORE and MORE talk that he might leave, so maybe he will? However, I still find it unlikely.

I personally think this could be good news for us. Sav has been brilliant for us and what we have achieved in the past couple of years but we are trying to move away from that now. I said when he broke his leg that he wouldn't be the same player and he is not. I think 1.5m for him should be accepted. I would have Dunn and Reid ahead of him and with Lance Davids arriving! He is a leader but I wonder how much disharmony he is causing because he is not in the first team?!?

He wont b going... the only times he aint played this year is when he has been suspended or taken a knock. We are a better team when he is on the pitch and that is still the case to this day.

Tough call not the same player he was £2mill accept less than that not sure. But if he is causing unrest in the changing room then let him go deffo, same with Roberts and the AXE. Not worth it and might be a slight reason why form has dropped.

The end of the Championship campaign of 2016/17 is only a month and a bit away from fans across the country but as we go in to the remaining weeks of the campaign...

Positive Signs For Bennett

Bennett was positive of Blackburn being able to see off Lancashire rivals Preston heading into this game at Ewood Park after the Norwich and Fulham results.

Minor Graham Setback

Blackburn had to do without Danny Graham against Preston following the groin problem that forced him off against Fulham last week. He could return against Brighton next week.

Hugely Frustrating

Mowbray admitted Blackburn didn't start the game well against Preston but had then been the dominant side so was 'majorly disappointed' not to record a victory.
