Rovers Man of the Match v Wigan

Vital Blackburn's most recent poll asked, "Rovers Man of the Match v Wigan Athletic?" We voted Roque Santa Cruz.

Not for this first time this season, and VERY unsurprisingly after his hat trick against Wigan Santa Cruz picks up the accolade of Man of the Match, his HUGE winning margin of 81% was always likely to be the case.

The rest were much the same as each other, although Brett Emerton (7% despite his sending off) and Brad Friedel (3%) did stand out slightly from the rest.

So in summary
B Friedel - 3%
B Emerton - 7%
C Samba - 1%
R Nelsen - 0%
S Warnock - 1%
D Bentley - 0%
S Reid - 1%
R Savage - 1%
MG Pedersen - 1%
R Santa Cruz - 81%
B McCarthy - 1%
M Derbyshire (Sub 74mins) - 1%
D Dunn (Sub 90) - 2%

With one Man of the Match Award out of the way it is straight onto another for Tuesday Evenings Carling Cup Quarter Final defeat against Arsenal. So the current poll, suggested by The Rovers Player is asking "Rovers Man of the Match v Arsenal"

The sad part is that his hat-trick was useless...and his two goals against Arsenal too :( We can't afford to play defense like we have been doing)

Santa looks to be an excellent signing. Looked very good against Arsenal, and turned up in the right places in the box.
