Taylor Stays Out & Nolan Wants To

Blackburn Rovers have allowed Tranmere Rovers to extend the loan of defender Andy Taylor for a second month.

21-year-old Taylor has made six appearances for Tranmere during his loan period so far with League One side, and manager Ronnie Moore has been VERY pleased with his progress so he is delighted to see him stay for another month (at least).

Moore told the Official Tranmere Rovers Website: "He has been excellent for us so far and we are pleased he has agreed to stay for a second month.

"He can tackle, has pace, can pass and likes to get forward so he is a great addition to the side
."

Meanwhile Rovers youngster (but probably a youngster (in my personal opinion) that does have more chance of a log-term future at Ewood Park) Eddie Nolan wants to stay on loan with Hartlepool United as long as he can.

The 19-year-old has played almost every game for Hartlepool since signing on loan for them and the experience is something that he is very much enjoying so he would very much like to stay on loan for as long as he can.

Nolan told the Official Hartlepool United Website: "I love it here. It's been a really good move for me.

"It is out of my hands now but I'd love to stay here for a while
."

It is further first team experience for both, that WILL be beneficial, quite how much first team football either will play for Rovers in the future does remain to be seen.
Personally I would like to see both have a future with us but Taylor is the one that I least feel will do this.

Yep, I like the idea of keeping these starlets on our books but loaning them out to get experience... glad that now we are the loanees rather than the loaners (if that makes sense!) These boys are the future of the club. Do we still have Gallagher on our books or has he gone for good?

He's still out on loan isn't he, and is due back shortly.
