Savage The Subject Of Speculation

Another Blackburn Rovers player who is apparently "unsettled" is Robbie Savage, and reports have grown over the past few weeks that he could be subject to transfer window move. Monday saw more of these talks

It is the time of year when there will be a lot of talk and speculation, but that surrounding Savage has grown in recent weeks, and the fact that he didn't immediately get straight back into the Rovers side for a number of weeks after returning from injury led to talk that he might want to leave (which if he did after being out injured, as much as we ALL love him here would we really want him DEMANDING a place in the side?!?!) but this was always denied and he is now back in the side anyway.

Tabloid suggestions on Monday was saying that his former Birmingham City manager Steve Bruce wants to take him to his new club Wigan Athletic and new Derby County manager Paul Jewell (who also wanted him when he was Wigan boss last season) wants to take him to Pride Park.

Mark Hughes is a HUGE fan of Sav's so personally I feel that a move to either side is HIGHLY unlikely and Sav even wanting to move on is not that likely either is it?

Sparky WON'T want to lose Sav will he, and can that many people REALLY see Sav wanting to leave?!?! I can't, and don't think he will, why would he want to?

Savage is a useful player. He fights hard, and always makes his best effort. I'd rather sell Mokoena+ Tugay will probably quit in a few months time.....

Robbie has been great for us, since he has come back he puts more urgency into our play. I can understand why other clubs would want him. However, I don't think he'll leave.

IsraeliRover - I'm hoping that Tugay stays for as long as he wants and retires with us. Then I hope he is offered a coaching role at the club.
