Djiba Set For Second Rovers Trial

Blackburn Rovers manager Mark Hughes likes to hand out trails, and recently he has had Dino Djiba and Lance Davids at Ewood Park, with it claimed Djiba is set to return for a second.

Djiba (who is currently contracted to Metz in France) and Davids (who plays for Djurgarden in Sweden) are both midfielders and had spent some time training with Rovers in the past week so Hughes could take a close look at the pair then take it from their.

Hughes told Sky Sports: "We've only had them in for a couple of days so we are just looking at them at the moment.

"They are guys we had the opportunity to bring in and look closely at, which is what we like to do
."

Apparently 21-year-old Senegalese star Djiba impressed to the extend (according to the Daily Mirror) that despite returning to Metz (but not featuring over the weekend, as he has fallen down the pecking order) he will be returning for a second spell, and if he impresses again he could sign for a knockdown price when the transfer window re-opens next month.

Sparky does like handing out his trials doesn't he, if he was impressed enough with either they could be likely to sign, the fact (if true?!?!) that Djiba is going to return seems to suggest that he was VERY keen on him.

Remember i said it before, we are a try before you buy club lol.

Or that hes undecided on him HDM, can be read both ways can't it?
BomBom
Samba was a trialist, wasn't he?
Decimus Poole
BomBom - True, it could be that, but I like to think that it's a case of liking him so he wants to look at him again :)
Decimus Poole - Yes indeed dude, Samba was a trialist before he signed, it's the Sparky way.
Hughes Da Man
Samba, Monky, Bentley were on loan, im sure there were others

It is a great policy. We need midfield but I'm not sure about this chap. Know very little about him but I guess in Sparky we trust. Still it would be good to see an established face come into that midfield to shake things up.
roversman
i agree roversman. but he's hopefully better than mokoena.
alpeck
He probably will be - but hey, Aaron did a job for us when we needed him and he's filled in again this season... never moans about not being picked just gets on with it

id like to see another young player come in but id like to see him get more time than rigters has gotten! im startin to feel as if sparky is stock piling a load of youngsters but never use them! i think they would be better off playin with some of the more experienced players to learn from them!
durks de rover
There was a headline that said 'Dino is Back'. I thought Baggio had come back as a coach.
Decimus Poole
You know what dude, I thought EXACTLY the same thing lol!!!
Hughes Da Man
Well as long as he hasn't come back to play... !
