Rovers Man of the Match v Villa

Vital Blackburn's most recent poll asked, "Rovers Man of the Match v Aston Villa?" We voted David Bentley.

For what I think was the first time this season Bentley was voted Man of the Match for Rovers? This came against Aston Villa in a 4-0 defeat on Wednesday Evening, gaining 26% of the vote to narrowly nudge out Rovers skipper Ryan Nelsen, who gained 23%.

The rest were much the same as each other, although Christopher Samba and Roque Santa Cruz (11% each) did stand out slightly from the rest.

So in summary
B Friedel - 6%
A Ooijer - 3%
C Samba - 11%
R Nelsen - 23%
S Warnock - 0%
B Emerton - 0%
A Mokoena - 0%
D Dunn - 3%
D Bentley - 26%
R Santa Cruz - 11%
B McCarthy - 7%
M G Pedersen (Sub 81mins) - 3%
S Reid (Sub 67mins) - 7%
J Roberts (Sub 67mins) - 0%

It was quite a barren Month in November goal wise for Rovers, with only two goals scored, which probably was not a fair reflection of the month really. So the current poll, suggested by The Rovers Players is asking "What was Novembers Top Goal?"

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings.

Congratulations to Bents, even though he spent a fair portion of the second half OFF the pitch God still ran him close.

In as much as the score WASN'T a reflection of the game yes it is a game to forget, football wise I think Rovers played superbly well at time.
Hughes Da Man
i wouldnt say superbly well lol, defence wasnt up to scratch that night

It might be the game that makes the squad sit up and realise they've got a long hard season ahead of us if we want Euro football. We've had a good start, but teams aren't going to roll over
