Hodge Enjoying Life With Millwall

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bryan Hodge has extended his loan spell with League One side Millwall until the New Year, something which very much pleases him.

20-year-old Hodge has recently been on loan with Millwall and earlier this week Rovers agreed to extend this loan period, so he will now stay at the New Den until 5th January 2008 (maybe longer?) and he has expressed his delight at doing so as he feels he is doing well and is reaping the benefits of this.

Hodge told the Official Millwall Website: "I'm delighted to extend my loan contract. I'm enjoying my football and we've just picked up a win at home (against Yeovil), so it's even better.

"I feel I've got more used to League One football with every game and I'm getting stronger and fitter. The first game I played was a massive shock, but I'm enjoying playing now
."

Quite what his future at Ewood Park will be remains to be seen, but despite some off the field problems Rovers manager Mark Hughes had been keen to keep the talented midfielder, so this loan period with Millwall will serve him well one way or anther.

Good experience for Hodge, regular football will do him good. Personally I'm not sure what his future will be with Rovers though, what does everyone else think?

What are these off the field probs dude? I can't see him making an impact on the Rovers first team.

it'll be the same as everyone else, if ur good enuff it up to u to show it! A starting line-up in a Preimerleague team is not handed to anyone! Well maybe with the exception of Owen!! But I have heard he's good so he has to prove that now!!
Clint
This will only benefit him... good to see he is enjoying it.
