Savage Loves His Mind Games

Bit of early morning comedy for you here guys.

Reading captain Graham Murty has revealed how Blackburn Rovers midfielder Robbie Savage stunned James Harper into silence - for three weeks!!!

This was during a recent meeting between Blackburn and Reading at Ewood Park.

Murty told the Daily Record: 'Robbie Savage was put on his a*** by our midfielder James Harper and Robbie shouted: 'Hey you, I've been earning £40,000 a week in the Premiership for a decade, what have you earned?'

James had no reply and took three weeks to get over it.'

Mikey Thoughts....

Robbie ain't going to win any friends with comments like that... but it's still quite funny.

No the biggest piece of news we'll hear all day but still good funny stuff.
MikeyGamst
It certainly made me laugh dude, how Sav's popularity is going to dip even more (if that's possible lol!)
Hughes Da Man
I think popularity and Savage dont really fit in the same sentence!!!!
MikeyGamst
good stuff mate, i rkn savage is a legend lol
sasman
same here although I think his popularity doesnt extend past Blackburn.
MikeyGamst
makes robbie seem like an utter cock, but he's actually a funny chap!
martinr
He is definitely a character! I wonder why Toshack doesn't like him?!
FreidelNo.1
Yes I wonder Freidel.No1!!!! maybe he doesnt like him back????
MikeyGamst
I wonder why all opposition fans call him a w"nk** as well! I guess he's just not a people's person! I think he's great for the game, people are becoming too serious!
FreidelNo.1
Definitely... most of the stuff he says is light hearted... have you seen his programme feature?? you've been Savaged!!!
MikeyGamst
I think that his name doesn't help him tho - i really think thats why he gets a bad rep - saying that if his name was Robbie Nicely he'd probably get a good kick in!
FreidelNo.1
Robbie Nicely does have a certain ring to it... lets get it started.
MikeyGamst
I'm sure he'll be happy with it!
FreidelNo.1
Sitting back and reading these comments was highly amusing, if you haven't start from the top and read down, pure gold lol!
Hughes Da Man
I was listening to TalkSport a while back and a caller phoned in saying he saw a tall blonde bending over under bonnet of their car, he was going to stop and help, but when he passed he realised it was Robbie Savage! Quality
FreidelNo.1
You can take the prat out of Birmingham and he's still a prat!!! God I hate this guy!
DeanoVilla
I listened to that too FN1.... typical Robbie. lol
MikeyGamst
Deano - wasn't your manager a fan of Robbies, when at leicester? O'Neil knows what he's on about, and Savage hates the Brum... the enemy of my enemy is my friend!
FreidelNo.1
Mikey - still can't believe he didn't stop and help him out tho!
FreidelNo.1
Well the people of britain nowadays!!!! lol
MikeyGamst
only 40k? what a peasant :-)
merlin
Savage is one of those players you love to hate but would all like him in your own side. You'd think with all that money he would get his hair sorted out!!!
dazza71
Nah the hair is part of the act. the more people hate savage the more it motivates him.... gotta love it... go rob!!!
MikeyGamst
The thing is tho, why do people hate so much? I know most of it is just banter, but he's never been a nasty player - I'd 'hate' Alan Smith or Joey Barton alot more - Savage is just a wind up merchant - and he is funny with it!
FreidelNo.1
I think a lot of it is to do with the pink car, the fancy hair and the wind ups... but Joey Barton and Smith are much more malicious players. Its true what they say though... you'd love him if he played for your team.
MikeyGamst
Without doubt, and clubs ALWAYS have when he has played for them.
Hughes Da Man
love it...best to respond this way rather than break his legs....
ernshaw
I hope he makes a speedy recovery
