Fair Prices For Carling Cup Match

Fair Prices For Carling Cup Match

The tickets for Blackburn Rovers' Carling Cup Quarter Final with Arsenal go on sale soon, and again these tickets are very fairly priced.

The match, taking place at Ewood Park on Tuesday December 18th (20:00 kick off) will see adult season ticket holders have to pay only £15. Young season ticket holders, seniors and juniors just £5. Adult non-season ticket holders only have to pay £20, with seniors, club 15-21 members and juniors paying £10.

Once again I think it is fair to say that Rovers have priced these tickets more than fairly, as remember this is a Carling Cup Quarter Final tie against a highly talented Arsenal side (youngsters or not), and we aren't bad either!!! Tickets go on sale a week Monday (Monday November 26th) with season ticket holders having a week to claim their regular seats.

You can't complain at these prices can you (which apply in all areas of the ground), what's more it should be a superb match as well.

Away tickets are just 20 quid too, which is nice. Make for a much better atmosphere and bearing in mind we sold our allocation for Sheff.United in the last round although the game was live on Sky I guess we'll sell out.

As long as we don't sit off them and let them play - like Reading did yesterday - terrible game!

Letting Arsenal dictate the game is the worst thing we could do ESPECIALLY in a home match, get at them early and set the tone. With prices like they are it shoudl make for a good crowd too!

I think the tactics we employed last year at Ewood in the replay worked best. Let them have the ball in the "none dangerous" areas and the minute they come near, harry the life out of them and counter attack.
