Samba Player of the Month (Oct)

Samba Player of the Month (Oct)

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked you "Player of the Month for October?" We voted in favour of Christopher Samba.

In September Jason Roberts surprisingly picked up the Player of the Month poll, but there were no (real) surprises this month as Samba walked away with the accolade with 32%. Adding the overall Player of the Month to his Defender of the Month win.

His closest challenger was David Dunn with 21%, just ahead of Brad Friedel with 19% but the majority have spoken so the Wall picks up the Award (and not for the first time in his Rovers career!), so congratulations must go to him.

So in summary
David Bentley - 5%
David Dunn - 21%
Brad Friedel - 19%
Benni McCarthy - 10%
Christopher Samba - 32%
Roque Santa Cruz - 13%

With the Player of the Month for October now out of the way we are now looking for the Goal of the Month for October, so the current poll inspired by The Rovers Players is asking, "What was October's Top Goal?"

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings.

The Wall had another fine Month, and maybe he was rightly crowned the Player of the Month for October but personally I went for Bradders, thought he was awesome (as always, which is probably why he didn't win, as we take it for granted?!?!)

Brad would have been a good choice - but it was very difficult to decide which is excellent because it means so many of the team are playing so well!

The more choice we have the better we're doing.... it would of been no suprise if benni, brad, emerton or santa would of won.
