Dunn Top Rovers Midfielder

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked, "Midfielder of the Month for October?" We voted in favour of David Dunn.

With 51% Dunn is quite rightly crowned the Midfielder of the Month for October after a string of impressive performances, which have seen him getting back to his very best.

David Bentley's 18% sees him finish as runner up to Dunny, just edging out Tugay (14%) and as such he also advances to the overall Player of the Month poll, taking place soon.

Aaron Mokoena (7%), Robbie Savage (7%) & Morten Gamst Pedersen (3%) completed the poll.

So in summary
David Bentley - 18%
David Dunn - 51%
Morten Gamst Pedersen - 3%
Aaron Mokoena - 7%
Robbie Savage - 7%
Tugay - 14%

As the search for October's Player of the Month continues, the positional votes conclude with the current poll asking, "Forward of the Month for October?" Who will join David Bentley, David Dunn, Brad Friedel & Christopher Samba? You decide.

Dunny is certainly proving any doubters wrong isn't he, as he has been superb this season, and FULLY deserved to win this poll.
Hughes Da Man
He has turned his career around, good on the lad
sasman
England recall?
will it ever happen
Maybe asking a little bit much dude, but never say never :)
Hughes Da Man
Dunn doing well - I hope his injury doesn't play up too much, still he has a week to recuperate until the big one on sunday... shame about his haircut tho!
FreidelNo.1
lol still early for england, seriously though, we could have bentley, derbyshire, warnock and dunny in the pommy squad for the next world cup, if not, they can all get aussie citizenship, il take em
sasman
his haircut is awesome, hes a bloody rover til he dies!! just hope that dunny doesnt get in england team cos his injuries would come back i think!
whitey_82003
It's a bit extreme that haircut Dunny has given himself, lets face it he WOULDN'T have paid to have that done lol!
Hughes Da Man
Well done Dunny. the fitness is back (touch wood) the skill was always there.
MikeyGamst
I agree with whitey - an england call may stretch him a bit, although seeing s we're out of the UEFA cup maybe it'd be ok. I always though he was a paul scholes but better at winning the ball. He would have been an england regular if not for his injuries
FreidelNo.1
Yeah and if he had of played for one of the "big 4"... lol always seems to help!!!!
MikeyGamst
or if you played for mcclaren t boro!
FreidelNo.1
Don't you mean if you played with Stevie Mac at Middlesbrough, Stewart Downing must have a dodgy video of Mr Mac!!! How else would he be getting in lol!
Hughes Da Man
Again Hughes Da Man, you know waht you're talking about!
FreidelNo.1
Horrible thought though!
FreidelNo.1
Still that doesn't explain how Jenas and P.Neville get in the team ahead of Dunn
FreidelNo.1
Similar theories there dude, maybe this video features all of them!!! Now thats an even more horrible thought!
Hughes Da Man
Or Warnock???? how the hell has he not been given a look in yet???
MikeyGamst
HDM - I hope ur wrong... although I wish u were rite, it was exposed and all of them quit in embarrasment - that would make the squad better!
FreidelNo.1
Mikey, Warnock should be selected ur rite. I guess were just too unfashionable - saying that if it means he'll stay fit and last the season, fair enough
FreidelNo.1
gotta be said he is a cracking player, and very consistent too
