Rovers Man of the Match v Spurs

Vital Blackburn's most recent poll asked, "Rovers Man of the Match v Spurs?" We voted Brad Friedel.

Unsurprisingly (and most certainly deservingly) Friedel, with 39% of the vote claimed the Man of the Match Award for his heroics during the 2-1 win over Spurs last Sunday. He made save after save to keep us in the match before we snatched it at the death.

Beaten into second place (albeit fairly convincingly) with 22% was the match winner Christopher Samba, who again not only put in a great display but scored the superb injury time winner.

The rest were much the same as each other, although Andre Ooijer and Roque Santa Cruz (10% each) did stand out from the rest.

So in summary
Friedel - 39%
Emerton - 1%
Warnock - 1%
Ooijer - 10%
Samba - 22%
Bentley - 0%
Dunn - 1%
Savage - 1%
Tugay - 1%
McCarthy - 8%
Santa Cruz - 10%
Mokoena - 1%
Gamst - 4%
Derbyshire - 1%

As the search for October's Player of the Month starts the current poll is asking, "Defender of the Month for October?" Who wins, we decide.

PLEASE NOTE: The positional votes are going to be quick fire 24-hour ones so get your votes in quick!

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings.

They held us to a draw dude !!!

Most consistent Keeper in the premiership over the last five years. Deserves more recognition.
dazza71
Such a good keeper. Got him in my fantasy team.
will it ever happen
dazza71 - Not that many people will disagree with you dude, I still think the only goalkeeper better than him is Petr Cech.
Hughes Da Man
Brad is probably the most consistent goalkeeper in the league. He rarely makes a mistake (knocks on wood) and is a great professional. He wins us loads of games - I hope he continues in goal for us for years to come!

HDM that may be true but i wouldnt swap bradders for fifty cechs he is one in a million! i would love to be able to count all the points he has won us over the years id say its more than any other player in the league and that is saying something!
durks de rover
I agree with durks.. you couldnt make me swap him with anyone else. He is the Premier League's best goalkeeper. Consitency is the key.
