Sav To Avoid Surgery

A quick bit of news for you here guys.

Blackburn Rovers will be without Robbie Savage for the next month - but he will NOT need knee surgery.

The ex-Wales midfielder, 33, was forced off at Tottenham on Sunday just before the half time whistle. But although scans revealed some damage to the medial ligament, it will not require an op.

A Rovers source told The Sun: 'The news isn't as bad as we feared.'

It is a case of good news bad news but I think we'll be grateful that he won't be out too long and this will give 'the binman' (cheers Roversman) the chance to excel as well.

well thats some good news for us (liverpool) we have too many players out as it is, so we didn't need savage kicking the rest of them around
muffdaddy1983
no that is good news for you muff daddy... apart from the fact you have Aaron Mokoena to play against... I'd rather play Savage than the Axe!!! there is no escape!!!!
MikeyGamst

I hate this bloke, not as much as bellamy though!
will it ever happen
I dnt know wht fans hate savage so much... he play acts, kicks, and is in players faces... but so do most premier league footballers. He runs non-stop in every game and plays to win - nothing wrong with that!
