Olsson's Next In Line

Well it looks like Bruno Berner has been supplanted by the young Swede, Martin Olsson as Stephen Warnock`s preferred replacement at left-back according to us VBers.

Olsson has put in some solid displays when called upon this season and looks to be maturing into an excellent full-back. Many had high hopes for him and he is starting to realise his potential.

Berner has just returned to fitness following an unfortunate injury in pre-season but he will have his work cut out to replace Olsson.

The results of the latest test are as follows:

Who would you rather see come in for Stephen Warnock at left back:

Bruno Berner 29%
Tony Kane 5%
Martin Olsson 57%
Andy Taylor 9%

He is starting to look like the real deal so I hope to see him progress further.

Andy Taylor is a great prospect. Olsson catches the eye because of his blistering pace.
