Bentley Signs Permanent Deal

David Bentley has put pen to paper on a three and a half year contract at Blackburn Rovers.

Bentley joined on loan from Arsenal in September and after impressing manager Mark Hughes in his four months at the club he has been offered a three and a half year contract.

Hughes told the officail website 'David has done well during his loan spell and is a young player with a clear ability and a big future in the game.'

Bentley has scored twice for Rovers this season in the F.A and League cup, he is expected to start up front against Manchester United tomorrow.
