Roberts Player of the Month (Sept)

Roberts Player of the Month (Sept)

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked you "Player of the Month for September?" Most voted in favour of Jason Roberts.

With Roberts (VERY, VERY surprisingly!!!) having picked up the Forward of the Month a few days earlier ahead of Roque Santa Cruz (a man that SURELY should have won that particular Award?!?) Roberts has now also picked up the Player of the Month Award for September (even MORE surprisingly?!?!) by gaining 41% of the vote.

His closest challenger was Santa Cruz with 25% but the majority have spoken so JR picks up the Award, so congratulations must go to him.

So in summary
David Bentley - 9%
Brad Friedel - 4%
Aaron Mokoena - 11%
Jason Roberts - 41%
Christopher Samba - 10%
Roque Santa Cruz - 25%

With the Player of the Month for September now out of the way we will be looking for the Goal of the Month for September shortly (this WON'T be won by JR as he didn't score!!!) but before this, the current poll inspired by The Rovers Players is asking, "Rovers Man of the Match vs. Birmingham?"

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings.

As with the Forward of the Month poll I like JR a lot but not enough to genuinely believe that he deserved to win this!!!

Championship Cost Per Goal So Far In 2016/17

The end of the Championship campaign of 2016/17 is only a month and a bit away from fans across the country but as we go in to the remaining weeks of the campaign...

Positive Signs For Bennett

Bennett was positive of Blackburn being able to see off Lancashire rivals Preston heading into this game at Ewood Park after the Norwich and Fulham results.

Minor Graham Setback

Blackburn had to do without Danny Graham against Preston following the groin problem that forced him off against Fulham last week. He could return against Brighton next week.

Hugely Frustrating

Mowbray admitted Blackburn didn't start the game well against Preston but had then been the dominant side so was 'majorly disappointed' not to record a victory.
