Rovers v Sunderland

Rovers have made 2 changes to the side that faced Birmingham.

Roque Santa Cruz partners Matty Derbyshire up front whilst Aaron Mokoena and Tugay retain their places in midifeld.

Warnock comes into replace Martin Olsson.

McCarthy, Savage and Pedersen start on the bench.

It is a bold line up but well worth a go. It may well give a kick up the backside to the 'big' names players who have not pulled their weight recently.

great result... the difference between winning and losing today was massive. Lose and we could of been in 15th. Instead we won and we're in 6th!!!! Roque was amazing!!!!

lets have a go at them... we're not gonna get anywhere by being shy!!!!

Strange formation....On the one hand we do create more chances. On the other hand- we're pretty much exposed at the back. Our main problem in my opinion is a stable CM. Ried is injured since I remember him, Dunn returned from injury, Tugay&Savage both very old, and Mokoena can't be a CD but bot a CM either- he can't pass the ball....Must bring a decent CM

Well Sparky might have been questioned (slightly) with the team he put out, and who he left out but now that he has down this once (taken the move to show people they are not invinsible) he will do it again, so people have to put in MAXIMUM effort all the time.
It was a GREAT win, and very good performance. so much for beating us Keano lol!!!

that thing he said last year about being able to beat both us and Chelsea was a bit premature wasnt it????

Just a touch, he should have thought before he spoke.
