"As Long As Mark Stays Here"

"As long as Mark stays here," this was a quote from Brad, which has now become a worry to us, with Chelsea desperate for a new Manager.

Chelsea are one of Mark Hughes former clubs. We were all half expecting the temptation of Man U to arise when Alex F. retires but will it be Chelsea's millions that tempts Mark Hughes now?

Could there already be a verbal agreement? Mark was at Stamford Bridge with Roman last weekend, would he fire a manager without having a replacement in mind at this time in the season?

If Mark goes, who will replace him here? Roman A.?

Thanks for this r.waterfall.
Sparky could quite possibly be a name Chelsea look at, but at this time I think that someone like Gus Hiddink could be higher on their hit list?!?!
Hughes Da Man
The problem - if Mark leaves - is that he will take the 'heart and soul' of Blackburn Rovers' with him. Backroom staff, coaching staff, scouting network...not to mention players. How on earth would these be replaced and who could? (These were my thoughts before Mark was appointed, however. But what an impossible act to follow. You only need to look at PNE who lost Billy Davies and appointed an up and coming young manager... then it begins to unravel).
nut all
..... and we have no Tony Parkes to turn to!!!
nut all
no Tony!!! it just seems wrong... the day will come when Mark goes and it will be a very sad day for me and any Blackburn fan

That day will undoubtably one day come, but it won't be until Fergie calls it a day, we will have Sparky here for a while yet!
Hughes Da Man
touch wood anyway!!

Hughes wont go to chelsea!!! Like i said in the forum i really think roman A will go for a big name , a capello or hiddink... etc. When Hughes goes it will be for UTD. So we should all hope that fergie stays manager until he's 90 or so.
Simon Garner Legend
and hughes wont neccessarily get de united job as there is a certain roy keane in management and by the time fergie goes he could have the experience to take over there well thats what i want to happen so we can keep hughes all to ourselves!
durks de rover
or maybe steve coppell as well?? rumour has it that fergie wants Querioz to take over when he leaves..... which suits me fine!!!!
