Rovers UEFA Tie On Setanta Sports

I was sent a private message from RoverTris who tells me that Blackburn Rovers' UEFA Cup first round first leg tie with Larissa will be on Setanta Sports on Thursday.

There have been a few posts around different sites on whether the Larissa game's on telly. I've just noticed it's being shown on Setanta - here's the listing from their schedule:

15:45 LIVE
LIVE UEFA Cup: Larissa v Blackburn
LIVE action from Greece as Mark Hughes' Blackburn side travel to take on a trick away encounter against Larissa.

I knew my Setanta subscription would come in handy again! Roll on UEFA Cup glory - let's hope Gamst follows up his words on the subject with a stunning goal tomorrow!

im a fan of the min by min on de website aswell especially cos rovers arent on the telly all that often

true. also a note on the website... the online commentary is really good, and fairly unbiased! If you compare this to chelski tv you really notice the difference. they are ridiculously biased to the point that it's hard to watch if you're not rooting for chelsea. plus i swear one of the commentators they have on there is about 14 years old.
martinr
get in... i'll get the missus to sky plus it. but i'll be "doing" a martinr and on rovers.co.uk, f5ing it all the way baby!!!!
MikeyGamst
teams are up, assertive side for us! just ooijer in for samba. serious.
martinr
glancing over that micky I read that your missus will be doing martinr while you watch the game on skyplus?? lol
martinr
Sorry, No "stunning goal" for Gamst P., or any Rovers players I'm afraid. Sounds like we were well and truly beaten. We will have a tough time now getting to the next round, even if we win 3-1 we are out. I did point out when the draw was made that they had made some very good close season signings, I still didn't expect us to do so badly
