'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rovers Player Aaron Doran

The report I read on the Denmark v Eire Under 17 Uefa cup qualifying win, said that Rovers player Aaron Doran was the main difference between the two teams. He scored one and set up another.

I haven't seen him play, is this form consistent or was this just a one off?

He was substituted 10 minutes from the end, was that tactical or due to injury?

How much 'under 17' is he? In the reserves soon or longer term?

A short article, or reply by anyone who knows some of the answers would be
interesting.

Aaron Doran has started to play for the youth team, under 18s, this season. He plays up front, just behind the front man, or on the right side of midfield. He is strong and willing. Above all, he is a lovely ball player. The first time we saw him he was on the right wing and the number of excellent crosses he delivered was noticeable. His close control is excellent and he plays quality football. One for the future.

Aaron Doran has, I am sure, some fine footballing qualities, he is , in some respects a player like Keith Treacy. Both great ball players and great prospects. However, for those who have not heard of our youth team captain, a young German/African player... http://www.mamadi-keita.com/english/factsandfigures.php This lad is WONDERFUL.

Yeah it will be great to see some of these lads emerging this season. Keita, De Vita, Treacy, Pezzoni, Gunning, I have high hopes for them all.
