David Dunn Top Rovers Midfielder

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked, "Midfielder of the Month for August?" You voted in favour of David Dunn.

After a fine start to the Season unsurprisingly, and MOST definitely David Dunn has been voted the Midfielder of the Month for August. To call his 75% win a landslide would be wrong; it was more an avalanche and as such advances to the overall poll to determine the Player of the Month for August.

Morten Gamst Pedersen's 15% sees him finish as runner up to Dunn, and as such he also deservingly advances to the overall Player of the Month poll, taking place soon.

David Bentley (7%), Tugay (3%), Aaron Mokoena (0%) and Robbie Savage (0%) completed the poll.

So in summary
David Bentley - 7%
David Dunn - 75%
Morten Gamst Pedersen - 15%
Aaron Mokoena - 0%
Robbie Savage - 0%
Tugay - 3%

As the search for August's Player of the Month continues the current poll is asking, "Forward of the Month for April?." Who will join David Dunn, Ryan Nelsen, Morten Gamst Pedersen & Christopher Samba? You decide.

PLEASE NOTE: The positional votes are going to be quick fire 24-hour ones so get your votes in quick!

TOTALLY Deserved, Dunny had been the Man of the Match in pretty much every Rovers match in August in my opinion.

He is definately back as I have stated in a number of my match reports. He looks even better because of his maturity and leadership skills on the pitch. Very well deserve, let's just hope that he puts in another performance today!

Well deserved. Dunny has been fantastic this season. Maybe we dont need a new central midfielder after all

Keeping fit has always been my worry for him, but I am now hopeful that he is over his REAL BAD injury problems. He will obviously pick up slight knocks, but fingers crossed that will be all they are, slight knocks.

If he keeps fit and we actually get Reidy fit then who knows... we could be boasting some mighty options!!!
